  • 2 cups Frozen Cherries Fresh cherries can also be used.
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Allulose Can use coconut sugar or regular sugar to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract For richer flavor, consider fresh vanilla bean or paste.
Latte
  • 1-2 shots Espresso (or Strong Brewed Coffee) Strong instant coffee can be used.
  • 1 cup Milk of Choice almond, coconut, or regular
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream Use coconut cream for dairy-free.
  • 1 teaspoon Additional Vanilla Extract Optional for extra flavor.

Method
 

Cherry Syrup Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine frozen cherries, water, and allulose over medium heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until cherries soften and create a syrup.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth, adjusting consistency with water if needed.
Latte Preparation
  1. Brew 1-2 shots of espresso or strong coffee while the cherry syrup cools.
  2. Froth your choice of milk and heavy cream with a splash of vanilla extract until steaming and foamy.
  3. In a glass with ice, layer the cherry syrup, brewed espresso, and frothed milk mixture. Stir gently.
  4. Garnish with additional cherry syrup or a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
