  • 2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Create your own blend if desired
  • 2 tbsp Honey Maple syrup is a fine substitute for vegan option
For the Glaze
  • 2 tbsp Honey Butter Mix honey with melted butter

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Your Starter: Ensure your sourdough starter is active and bubbly.
  2. Mix the Dough: Combine sourdough starter, warm milk, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and sea salt until well blended.
  3. First Rise: Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise for 6.5 hours.
  4. Shape the Rolls: Deflate, divide into pieces, and shape into smooth balls before placing on a baking sheet.
  5. Second Rise: Cover and let the rolls rise for 2 to 3 hours.
  6. Bake the Rolls: Preheat oven to 375°F, brush with honey butter, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Cool and Serve: Brush with remaining honey butter glaze and cool before serving.
