Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the sourdough discard, Greek yogurt, and grated cheddar cheese until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it lightly until smooth.
  6. Roll the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a cutter.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle additional cheese or herbs if desired.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
