Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Cook for 5–7 minutes each side until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the hoagie rolls and toast in the oven for 2–3 minutes until crispy.
  4. Spread honey mustard sauce on the bottom of each roll, add chicken tenders, and drizzle with BBQ sauce.
  5. Top with shredded lettuce or coleslaw, sliced red onions, and pickles. Add hot sauce if desired, then close the roll.
  6. Serve the sandwiches warm with potato chips or a side salad.
