Step-by-Step Instructions for Redneck Rice Casserole
  1. Cook your white rice according to package instructions. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown your ground beef with seasoning for 5-7 minutes and drain excess fat.
  3. Sauté sliced smoked sausage, diced red bell pepper, diced celery, and white green onions for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Combine the beef with the sausage and veggies, add cooked rice and paprika; mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in ½ cup of cheddar cheese until melted. Pour into greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions, soy sauce, and sriracha before serving.
