Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all ingredients for assembly.
- Slice the Kings Hawaiian Rolls in half and lay the bottoms in a tray. Spread mayonnaise on each bun and bake for 7-10 minutes until toasted.
- Chop the deli meats into bite-sized pieces and heat in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until warmed through.
- In a bowl, combine lettuce, mayonnaise, red onion, pickles, banana peppers, and dressing. Stir until incorporated.
- Layer slices of smoked provolone cheese over the bottom buns, then distribute the warmed deli meats on top.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the meat, melt butter with Italian seasoning, and brush it over the tops. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the tray from the oven, lift off the top buns, and spread the salad mixture on the warm meat layer. Replace the tops and press down gently.
- Slice the sliders into individual servings and serve warm for best flavor.
