  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin puree Fresh cooked pumpkin works well too
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Italian seasoning can be substituted
  • 1 cup Grated Fontina cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or gouda
  • 1/2 cup Whole-milk ricotta cheese Cottage cheese is a lighter substitute
  • 6 leaves Fresh sage Thyme or rosemary work well too
  • 2 tablespoons Hot honey Regular honey or balsamic reduction can be used

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté sliced shallots for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  3. Crumble the ground sausage into the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Arrange naan on a baking sheet and spread pumpkin puree over each. Sprinkle with oregano.
  5. Distribute grated Fontina cheese, then layer the sausage and shallot mixture, followed by dollops of ricotta cheese.
  6. Rub sage leaves with olive oil and scatter over the pizzas.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the naan is golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, drizzle with hot honey and serve warm.
