  • 8 ounces thin egg noodles can substitute with thin wonton noodles
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce buy in larger quantities for pantry stock
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium optional
  • 6 cloves garlic minced

  • 2 tablespoons oil for sautéing garlic

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together 3 tablespoons of oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 6 minced garlic cloves and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce mixture into the skillet with garlic. Stir well and cook for another minute.
  4. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 8 ounces of thin egg noodles and cook for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet with garlic sauce. Toss for 1-2 minutes until well coated.
  6. Serve hot on plates, optionally garnishing with chopped green onions.
