Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pounds Chicken Breasts Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
For the Sauce

For the Vegetables
  • 8 ounces Cremini Mushrooms Button mushrooms make a good substitute
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
For Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Can use yellow mustard as an alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Can replace with soy sauce
  • 2 Garlic Minced; fresh is preferred
For the Base
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Can use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version
  • 1 cup Full-Fat Sour Cream Greek yogurt can lighten it up

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat, and cook chicken pieces for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, and add mushrooms and onion. Sauté for 6 to 8 minutes until the mushrooms are browned and the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, deglazing the pan by scraping browned bits. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low; stir in sour cream until combined and warmed through. Adjust seasoning as necessary before serving.
