Peach Pie Cinnamon Rolls Instructions
  1. Activate the yeast by whisking warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Prepare the dough by mixing in softened butter, salt, and egg, then gradually adding flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic, then let it rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour.
  4. Make the filling by combining peach preserves, cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, and melted butter in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 16x12-inch rectangle and spread the peach filling on top.
  6. Shape the rolls by rolling the dough tightly, pinching the seam, and slicing into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare the glaze while the rolls bake by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  10. Once baked, let the rolls cool slightly, then glaze them generously and serve warm.
