  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Vegetable broth can be used for a non-meat choice.
  • 1/2 cup white wine (Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio) Mix lemon juice with broth for non-alcoholic option.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Line a large casserole dish with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil.
  3. Spread the thinly sliced shallots evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish. Layer half of the whole garlic cloves, sprinkling fresh thyme and rosemary on top.
  4. Place the chicken on top, drizzle with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle remaining garlic cloves and thyme over the chicken. Pour chicken broth and white wine around the edges.
  6. Roast uncovered for 1 hour, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Broil for an additional 5-7 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
