Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather ingredients and equipment, including a lined baking sheet.
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick slices (about ½ inch wide) and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and egg. Mix until well blended.
  4. Take a handful of the meat mixture and press it down onto each cabbage slice to form patties.
  5. Place the cabbage burgers on the lined baking sheet with space between them. Bake for about 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle cheese on top, and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve with dipping sauces.
