Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Chicken Thighs Skinless recommended
  • 1 cup Buttermilk Substitute with yogurt or plant-based milk mixed with vinegar if needed
  • 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust for spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika Smoked paprika adds a rich twist
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
For the Breading
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Gluten-free flour can be used
For the Sliders
  • 4 pieces Slider Buns Whole wheat or gluten-free buns can be used
  • 1 cup Dill Pickle Slices Substitute with sliced cucumbers if desired
For the Dill Pickle Aioli
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Use vegan mayonnaise for plant-based version
  • 2 tablespoons Dill Pickle Juice A splash of vinegar can be used as substitute

Method
 

Marinating and Cooking
  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F before adding chicken.
  5. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Mix mayonnaise and dill pickle juice in a bowl to prepare the aioli.
  7. Assemble sliders with fried chicken, dill pickle slices, and aioli on slider buns.
