- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, and melted butter until smooth. Add kosher salt, egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; blend for 2–3 minutes.
- Sift flour and baking soda into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gradually add Dutch process cocoa powder, folding it in until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Optionally, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50–60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 20 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
