  • 2 tablespoons butter for added richness
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency

  3. Create the Creamy Base: Pour in the light cream, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes until it simmers.
  4. Whisk in the Parmesan: Gradually add Parmesan, whisking until melted and sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Incorporate Miso and Lemon Juice: Add miso paste and lemon juice, stirring for 1-2 minutes. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Toss the Pasta: Fold cooked pasta into the sauce until well-coated, adjusting with pasta water as necessary.
  7. Final Touches and Serve: Season with black pepper and garnish with chopped herbs. Serve immediately.
