Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  2. Prepare coating by mixing flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  7. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and lime juice for the sauce.
  8. Lightly toast burger buns.
  9. Assemble sandwich by spreading sauce on the bottom bun, layering fried chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pineapple.
  10. Complete sandwich with the top bun and serve immediately.
