Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a mini donut pan lightly with oil.
  2. Whisk together your choice of milk, white or cider vinegar, oil (or chosen substitute), and pure vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a larger bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, sugar (or Xylitol), and salt; stir until well blended.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients, gently fold until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased mini donut pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full. Bake for approximately 8 minutes.
  6. Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes on a wire rack, then carefully release them.
  7. Once cool, roll each donut in powdered sugar or sprinkle it over the tops for an even coating.
