Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the vegetable oil, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs.
  4. Gradually combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  5. Scoop the batter into a Ziploc bag and fill each donut cavity two-thirds full.
  6. Bake the donuts for about 8 minutes until golden and springy.
  7. Let the donuts cool for about 10 minutes on a wire rack.
  8. Melt sugar in a saucepan to make the caramel, adding butter, cream, and salt.
  9. For the ganache, heat cream and pour over chocolate chips, stir until smooth.
  10. Dip the top of each donut in ganache, drizzle with caramel, and sprinkle peanuts.
  11. Let the donuts sit to let the ganache and caramel set before serving.
