Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the vegetable oil, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs.
- Gradually combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
- Scoop the batter into a Ziploc bag and fill each donut cavity two-thirds full.
- Bake the donuts for about 8 minutes until golden and springy.
- Let the donuts cool for about 10 minutes on a wire rack.
- Melt sugar in a saucepan to make the caramel, adding butter, cream, and salt.
- For the ganache, heat cream and pour over chocolate chips, stir until smooth.
- Dip the top of each donut in ganache, drizzle with caramel, and sprinkle peanuts.
- Let the donuts sit to let the ganache and caramel set before serving.
