  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang or sriracha for a simpler option
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Spicy Cream Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha adjust for spice preference
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
For Serving
  • 2 cups Rice white, brown, or jasmine rice
  • Garnishes (optional) sesame seeds and chopped green onions

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut your choice of steak into 1-inch cubes and marinate them in a mixture of soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. While marinating, prepare the spicy cream sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, sriracha, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Cook the rice according to package instructions; keep warm once done.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the marinated beef until cooked through and caramelized.
  5. Assemble the bowls by placing rice at the base, topping with beef, and drizzling spicy cream sauce over the top. Garnish as desired.
