- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let the unsalted butter soften at room temperature.
- Slice off the tops of the two heads of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, season, wrap in foil, and roast for 40-50 minutes.
- Squeeze out roasted garlic cloves into a bowl, add softened butter, herbs, Parmesan, and chili paste; mix well.
- Slice the baguette into 1 inch thick pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Spread the compound butter generously on each slice and sprinkle additional Parmesan on top.
