Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat toaster or oven to medium. Toast three slices of your chosen bread until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook four slices of bacon for about 5-7 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Spread about 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one slice of toasted bread. Layer with 2 ounces of sliced turkey breast and 2 slices of bacon.
  4. Add 1 cup of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato on top, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Place a second slice of toasted bread on top, spread more mayonnaise if desired, and layer remaining turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
  6. Top with the last slice of toasted bread, adding cheese if using. Press down gently.
  7. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and slice diagonally into quarters. Serve with chips or salad.
