Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Christmas Salmon
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon filets skin-side down on the baking sheet and season with kosher salt and black pepper.
  3. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, brown sugar, fresh orange juice, and orange zest. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer the glaze for 20-25 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Coat the salmon with the pomegranate glaze using a basting brush.
  6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 30-38 minutes until it reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, orange slices, parsley, and green onions before serving.
