- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to create the perfect baking environment.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, and brown sugar. Melt unsalted butter and pour it over the dry ingredients, stirring until crumbly. Press half of this mixture into the bottom of your prepared pan.
- Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips over the pressed oat mixture. Drizzle thick caramel sauce across the chocolate layer, then crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Rotate the pan halfway for even baking.
- Let the pan cool completely before slicing into squares.
