  • 1 cup Fontina Cheese Can replace with swiss cheese if needed
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half. In a cast-iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add halved Brussels sprouts and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and sprinkle in freshly grated nutmeg. Stir to combine and warm through for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and mix in cheddar, parmesan, and fontina cheese until melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with extra cheese if desired. Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if using, and serve.
