Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until bubbly, about 1 minute. Add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef or beef strips to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat apart until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat, reduce heat to low, stir in 2 tablespoons each of honey and BBQ sauce, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon honey, and 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce. Set aside for assembly.
  5. Heat tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave them for about 20 seconds.
  6. Assemble tacos by spooning the beef mixture into each tortilla, drizzling with taco sauce, and topping with cheddar cheese and cilantro.
  7. Fold each taco in half and serve immediately.
