Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop the dough onto the prepared cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Sprinkle the tops with sea salt flakes and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
