Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash the purple sweet potatoes thoroughly, place them in a pot, cover with water, and boil for 10–15 minutes until tender.
  2. Mash the potatoes with unsalted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Shape about 2 tablespoons of the mash into a cone on cling wrap; flatten the base to ensure it stands upright.
  4. Insert larger chocolate-coated corn flakes into the base and continue layering smaller flakes upwards for texture.
  5. Repeat shaping and decorating process until all sweet potato mash is used, yielding approximately ten cones.
