Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken pieces generously with salt and pepper; set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Add red pepper flakes, parsley, and lemon juice or chicken broth; simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the buttery garlic sauce, and simmer for 2–3 minutes until cooked through.
  6. In a separate saucepan, combine chicken broth and milk or cream; bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in rice and cook for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted for a creamy texture.
