Method

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and heat-treat the all-purpose flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking for 5 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Prepare the brownie base according to the instructions on the brownie mix. Melt the unsalted butter and combine it with the mix in a bowl. Fill a greased mini muffin tin about ¾ full with the brownie batter and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  3. Press the centers of each brownie gently with a small tool to create wells for the cookie dough.
  4. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the muffin tin.
  5. In a mixing bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated white sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Gradually incorporate the heat-treated flour and fold in the mini semisweet chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the cookie dough into each brownie cup, slightly overfilling to form domed tops.
  7. Chill the filled brownie cups in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
  8. Melt chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, then dip each frozen brownie bite into the chocolate coating, ensuring they're fully covered.
  9. While the chocolate is still wet, add optional toppings like colorful sprinkles or flaky sea salt.
  10. Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before serving.
