Method
 

Brownie Preparation

Caramel Layer
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine unwrapped caramels and milk. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Mix in chopped pecans and pour over cooled brownie layer.
Peanut Butter Topping
  1. In a bowl, beat together softened butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until thick and well combined. Spoon it over the caramel layer.
Chocolate Drizzle
  1. In another bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and oil. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir until melted. Drizzle over the peanut butter topping.
Final Touches
  1. Sprinkle fleur de sel or coarse sea salt over the chocolate drizzle while warm. Let brownies set for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
