  • 0.5 pound Gruyère Cheese Shredded.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Optional.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets until ¼ inch thick and cut into rectangles.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on one rectangle, layer with ham and Gruyère cheese.
  4. Seal with another pastry rectangle and crimp edges.
  5. Beat the egg and brush over the top of each stack.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool for 3-5 minutes before slicing.
