  1. Begin by slicing the block of halloumi cheese into even strips, approximately 1.5 cm (½ inch) thick.

  3. In a frying pan, pour enough olive oil to lightly cover the bottom and heat it over medium heat.
  4. Carefully add half of the coated halloumi strips to the hot oil and fry them for about 2–3 minutes on each side.
  5. Repeat the frying process with the remaining halloumi strips.
