  • 1 cup Fresh Basil best blended in last
  • 1/4 cup Tahini or sunflower seed butter for nut-free
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil optional for oil-free version
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup Water add gradually for consistency

  1. Prepare the Chickpeas by rinsing and draining one can of chickpeas. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. Combine Ingredients in Blender: Add the prepared chickpeas, basil, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt to a blender.

  3. Start Blending: Begin blending on low speed, gradually increasing to medium for about 30 seconds until chunky.

  4. Adjust Consistency with Water by slowly adding water while blending until smooth.
