  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Fresh shredded
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Fresh shredded or Monterey Jack as a substitute

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
For Topping (Optional)
  • 1 cup Crushed crackers or breadcrumbs Feel free to omit for low-carb option

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and dried thyme, cooking for about a minute.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and sauté for about 5 minutes until it starts to soften.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and heavy cream, whisking until smooth.
  6. Pour the creamy mixture into the skillet with the beef and cabbage, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
