  • 0.5 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 cups Apple Cider high-quality preferred
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg can substitute with allspice
  • 1 cups Caramel Pieces fully enclosed
  • 0.5 cups Dried Apples chopped small

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the egg and apple cider until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped dried apples.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Scoop dough, place a piece of caramel inside, and roll into balls.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
