  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add sliced apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the apples are tender.
  3. Flatten half of the cinnamon rolls into discs about 1/2 inch thick and layer them evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
