Step-by-Step Instructions for chubby hubby bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and ½ teaspoon salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup unsalted butter, ¾ cup light brown sugar, and ½ cup granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix on low speed until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet batter, mixing gently until just combined. Fold in 1 cup chunky peanut butter, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 cup coarsely chopped pretzels.
