Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by breaking apart any large clumps of refrigerated leftover rice to ensure even frying. Set aside once separated.
  2. Pour in your homemade chili oil into a large wok or non-stick pan and heat over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan, season with salt, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. Add the prepared leftover rice to the pan, stirring vigorously, and cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  5. Taste your Chili Oil Sinangag and adjust seasoning with more salt or chili oil if desired.
  6. Mold the rice into a dome shape using a bowl and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
