Step-by-Step Instructions for Baked Brie in Phyllo Dough
- Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
- Melt about 3 tablespoons of butter until it’s fully liquid.
- Lay out one sheet of thawed phyllo dough. Coat it with the melted butter. Layer a second sheet on top and repeat the brushing. Continue with a third sheet.
- Place a fourth phyllo sheet on top without brushing it with butter.
- Remove the brie cheese from its packaging and place it in the center of the stacked phyllo layers.
- Spread about 1/3 cup of your favorite fruit preserves over the top of the brie cheese.
- Fold the layers of phyllo up and over the brie, ensuring the cheese is fully encased. Brush the top layers lightly with melted butter.
- Transfer your wrapped brie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let your Baked Brie sit for about 3-5 minutes before serving.
- Optionally, drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped nuts before serving.
