  • 600 ml chocolate milk can substitute with fruit juice or tea
  • 2 cups self-raising flour or all-purpose flour plus 2 tsp baking powder per cup

Step-by-Step Instructions for 3 Ingredient Fruit Cake
  1. Combine 1 kg of mixed dried fruit with 600 ml of chocolate milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir gently and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F) and prepare a 20 cm (8-inch) square tin by lining it with baking paper or greasing it.
  3. Mix 2 cups of self-raising flour into the soaked fruit mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours or until a skewer comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
